Student of the Week: Alex Sinks

Alexander Sinks is a senior at Franklin High School, who has demonstrated an impact on the Franklin Community throughout his four years at FHS. Below is a question and answer session with him.
Name: Alex Sinks
Favorite hobby: Probably gardening or fishkeeping
What clubs/sports/activities are you involved in?
I am president of Green Team, president of Model UN, in mock trial, treasurer of Sci NHS, involved with the plastic bag ban, and a peer mentor.
Do you have a job?
I work as a camp counselor over the summer at Camp Cody and walk dogs during the school year
What advice would you give to underclassmen?
Don’t squander your time in highschool. Use all of the great opportunities you are given at FHS and always try your best; you cannot go back and redo your time in highschool.
What is your favorite memory at FHS?
The old school and the wobbly desks.
What are your plans for the future?
I will be attending college in the fall. I’m not sure yet which college but I will be studying biology with a pre-med track, hoping to later attend med school or vet school
What is your dream job?
Neurosurgeon at Mass General Hospital, or chief veterinarian at a Zoo.
What type of music do you like?
Pop, whatever is on the radio.
Favorite color?
Green, the color of nature.
Favorite food?
I love sea food. My favorites are sushi, salmon and scallops.
What class did you really enjoy in high school?
My 3 favorite classes were AP Bio, AP chem and AP Enviro
Are there any classes you would recommend to underclassmen?
AP Environmental Science.
