Ali Barker couldn’t be more excited for Creed II to come out. Creed I has always been one of her favorite movies, after watching all the Rocky’s with her dad growing up her love for the film has been passed onto Creed.
Barker loves how Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) is now the mentor of Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan). It reminds her of her childhood, watching Rocky star in his movies.
Creed I left the audience hoping Adonis would lead a full recovery. Barker says, “I hope Adonis will recover and will be able to live up to his father’s legacy.”
Lily Bernheart’s excitement is for the Mary Poppins revival starring Emily Blunt. Similarly to Barker, Bernheart hopes Mary Poppins will be able to evoke the same feelings that the first version did.
Bernheart spent many childhood days watching Mary Poppins with her mom. She claims it was a sure fire way to “cheer [her] up when [she] was sad, make [her] laugh when [she] was angry and always put a smile on [her] face.”
Bernheart doesn’t expect Blunt to live up to the legendary Julie Andrews but the strong cast combined with a hopefully enjoyable story line should lead to a successful premiere.
Whether you are buying popcorn and watching at the movies or curling up at home and renting winter 2018 is not expected to disappoint in terms of film.
