This year the FHS Green Team has been very successful and has been planning new ways for the community to go green. The Green Team has been focusing on the beautification of FHS by planting trees and flowers this spring around FHS. Also, the team is also focusing on recycling and the new, Tera cycle.

The Green Team’s Treasurer, Jay Borelli, says “Tera cycle is a good idea and it also is a way for the Green Team to make a profit, which will help with future plans. Each recycled chip bag is worth 10 cents, so there are a lot of benefits for us.”

The Green Team’s next big event is earth day, which is on April 22^nd. They plan to pick up trash and other harmful things around the community, and it is always a great success. The Green Team is always looking for new members, so stop by next Monday at 2:30 in Mr.Chetlen’s room (C106), and join the team.
