There is a new idea to give a small number of students their very own parking space next year by holding a school raffle. Students who participate in the raffle will have a chance to win their own parking space right near the exit of the student parking lot for one semester. At the end of the first semester, the student government will hold another raffle for a new group of students to win a spot.The money raised will go to the student government, and be used for funding for school activities.

“I think it’s a great way to raise money for our school activities” said junior, Heather Grove, President of the Student Government.

Not only will your parking space be in a convenient place in the parking lot, but it will also have your name painted in it so that if any other student parks in your space, they will be forced to move their car.

“I wish that we could have had this our senior year, I would have loved to have my own parking space”, said senior, Colin Young.
