Summer Reading 101

Attention FHSers! On Tuesday October 4, students will be presenting their summer reading projects to their F period classes. Instead of getting tested on the book, students are required to produce a project that shows that they have read their chosen book. There is a variety of options for projects: a paper, a visual, a board game, a painting etc. (more listed online). At the end the students will be asked to grade their project based on the rubric. This project is worth 40 points and the project must include the following criteria: a summary of the book, an explanation of time/setting and its impact of the book, a character/theme/conflict that resonates with you and a recommendation for someone. Good luck!
