What to be this Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner. Trying to figure out your costume? Here are all of the costume trends for Halloween 2014!

Unsurprisingly, Frozen character costumes are dominating the top 10 lists for teenagers, adults, and children. Another big hit is Batman characters and other action/superhero costumes.

Check out Halloween Express’ top teen sellers- including Alice and Wonderland characters, creepy clowns, and bananas.

Party City, another company,  agrees- Alice and Wonderland characters definitely top their list, as well as teenage mutant ninja turtles.

If you are on the more creative side, Pinterest some cool DIY costumes. You can stand out wearing a homemade donut costume (made using a basketball jersey and a pool float) or as a  twist on a Disney princess dress.

Most popular couple costumes include breakfast foods, law enforcement, and doctor who.

Going to a party with a group of friends? Why not coordinate costumes! Most popular group costume categories are…

  1. Alice and wonderland
  2. Pirate
  3. Law enforcement
  4. Gothic/vampire
  5. Witches
  6. 1920’s costumes
  7. Disney characters
  8. 1980’s costumes
  9. Video game characters
  10. 1950’s costumes

Remember Halloween is on a Friday this year… 🙂 have fun with your costumes!
