Cinco de Mayo Celebration

On Tuesday, May 5th, Spanish club will be hosting a special Cinco de Mayo celebration.  It will take place in the courtyard – or the cafeteria if weather does not allow – from 2-4pm.

Everyone is welcome!  Spanish club encourages students and teachers alike who take or teach any language – French, Latin, or Spanish – to attend the Spanish club’s celebratory event and take part in the special France vs. Spanish capture-the-flag game.

Refreshments and Spanish snacks will be served.  Throughout the event, Spanish music will be playing!

Please sign up here  through Google forms and make sure to choose the team you want to play for in the capture-the-flag game (Reminder: the French team wears a blue shirt, and the Mexican team wears a red shirt).

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration to honor the success of the Mexican militia over the French army in 1862.

Spanish club hopes to see you all there!  ¡Hasta la vista!
