Moe’s & Making Whoopie as a study break, what get’s better than that?

Lucy Hemingway, Writer

You have three finals down, four more to go, now what? How about a trip to the Franklin Public Library to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Kick Off Party on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30!

To kick off the library’s summer reading program, the library’s Teen Advisory Board has put together this celebration for all teens, grades 5-12. At the event, there will be free dinner provided by Moe’s and free dessert provided by Making Whoopie! As well, you will be able to sign up for the Library’s program that will last the entire summer until August 25.

Not only should you come because of free food, the program, and your love for books, but at the end of the summer, there will be a raffle for people who have read more than 5 books! These prizes are gift cards donated by various local companies, including Elizabeth’s Bagels, Chipotle, and Dunkin Donuts!

So, bring a friend or multiple friends and come on down to the Library to have a nice study break!
