Recycling Challenge

Over the past several days Science NHS has been running the second annual Recycling Challenge.

Outside the cafeteria, students can put their recyclables, including plastic water bottles and paper bags, into their grade’s bin.

On January 22, the contents of each grade’s bin will be weighed and compared, then, students from the grade with the most recyclables will be entered into a raffle. The three winners of the raffle will win both a new Camelbak waterbottle and a $5 gift card to Elizabeth’s Bagels.

“It’s a great cause and really informs people about being environmentally aware” says junior Lilly Mucciarone.

Science NHS encourages students to participate in the Recycling Challenge as it’s a great opportunity to help our environment and win some incredible prizes!
