Girls Scouts Hosting Career Fair

Franklin Girl Scouts Troop 80637 are hosting a career fair for girls on May 4th, at Tri-County High School.

At the fair, women in many different professional fairs will be offering information on their careers to girls aspiring to go into the same field as them eventually.

The event is open to any middle school or high school girls throughout Franklin who are interested in speaking to these women and gaining information on possible career paths.

They will have the opportunity to hear from these women on how being a woman has impacted their professional life and career path.

The Girl Scouts hope this event will give girls throughout the community first hand advice and information about different career paths.

“Part of being a Girl Scouts is not only learning various skills and planning events, but building girls of courage, confidence, and character that make the world a better place”, says FHS sophomore and Girl Scout Vineetha Yadlapalli.

This event is for women, by women, and hopes to empower girls and teach them about women in the professional world.

If you are interested, the event will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Tri County on May 4th. Refreshments will also be served!
