Neon Dance Friday Night

Devyn Forcina & Alyssa Carolan

What better way to celebrate Spirit Week and the Thanksgiving game, than a dance? This Friday, November 18th, come to the second annual Neon Dance!

The dance will be held in the FHS gym from 7-10. All grades are invited!

Tickets are $10 and can be bought online from statechamps.com, like the Homecoming tickets. There is no additional fee through online payment. They can also be bought at the door of the Athletic entrance , as well as something that proves they attend FHS, like their school ID.

This is an informal dance, and students should adhere to the school’s dress code. Neon colors and white clothes will glow the brightest under the blacklights.

“It’s a ton of fun, you don’t have to dress up or anything fancy, but you still get to go and have fun like any other dance!,” says class of 2018 vice president, Kevin Sassaman.

When asked what their favorite part about the Neon Dance last year was, sophomore Emma Clifford said, “I liked how it was casual and you could glow in the dark.”

“I liked it because you didn’t have to dress up,”  agrees Lizzie Leo.

From a  different aspect, Siobhán Collins says, “The DJ was really good last year.”

The Neon Dance will surely be a fun and memorable night, so be sure to get your tickets for this Friday night! Tickets are being sold for $10 each. If you decide to go, be sure to bring your FHS ID so you can get into the dance!
