The freshman class is quickly taking on high school in stride. But what goes on behind the scenes in the class of 2020? Meet the students and the teachers that make up Franklin High’s newest class.

Right from the start the freshman class has set out to make a difference in the school.

Mr. Picillo, the class advisor, stated, “Freshman class officers have been working hard to plan a memorable freshman banquet for Friday, March 31st! They also intend to roll out two fundraisers over the the next two months so be on the lookout for more information @FHSPanthers2020.”

The class of 2020 has proved that they aren’t afraid to fail. After plans for the New Year’s Bash fell through, student government began working harder to rebound and make this year memorable.

Jami Pandiscio, freshman student, said that if she had to describe all her classmates in one word it would be, “Outgoing, because we’re not afraid to put ourselves out there and have fun.”

Whether it’s in the classroom or the halls, the freshman class is far from shy.

Ms. Cataldo, World History teacher,  was asked about one thing she’s like her classes to improve she replied, “Their conversation skills with each other within the classroom, and no more water bottle flipping.”

The class of 2020 has been described using words like “bold,” and “energetic” and they have fully represented the description. They are the newest addition to the FHS community, and they plan on leaving their mark over the next four years.
