The movie the Last song inspired by the book Nicholas sparks was released to theaters Wednesday 31th. Appearing in her first dramatic role Miley Cyrus movie made sixteen million in opening weekend. It ranked top five in the box office.

This non-Hannah Montana movie was about a rebellious girl named Ronnie who goes to spend her summer on Tybee Island in Georgia with her father.

The film shows the struggle between family, and first love. During the film I thought that the film dragged on at parts and that they could of cut a good portion of it out.

It was simply too long. Even though I liked the book better, I think she did good job pursuing the character of Ronnie. For her first movie I was surprised she could pull off the part.

Even though I don’t like Miley I think she deserves praise for her first movie.
