Were you a fan of ’24’? Were you as disappointed with the series ending as the rest of the fans across America were? Well, guess what? Discussion has finally come to a close, the ’24’ movie is officially being produced!

The eight season long TV show featured Hollywood actor, Keifer Sutherland. The show, which started in 2001 and ended spring 2010, was about the life of an FBI agent who was known for not being able to “play by the rules”. Agent Jack Bauer worked for the L.A. Counter Terrorist Unit, otherwise known at CTU, defusing bombs, stopping assassination attempts, and much more.

Each season was a span of 24 total episode. Each episode was one hour in a single day; the season total was the course of one day.

The movie is going to begin six months after the final incident that concluded in the series finale. Sutherland spoke out saying that filming for the movie would begin in late April, early May. Sutherland also stated that the movie will cover the usual time of ’24’ hours and in total will be over two hours running time.

The movie is said to be released in 2013.
