The #1 Game In America is….

There were many highly anticipated games that lined the shelves towards the end of 2011. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3,Batman Arkham City, and Saint Row the Third were among these games. All of these games were highly rated, but none of them compared to the rating that the #1 game got.

In 2011, and so far in 2012, the #1 game in America is the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This game was the most anticipated out of all the games in 2011 after the success of the 4th game in the Elder Scrolls series, Oblivion.

The game has been talked about for the past 3-4 years, when the creators announced that they were going to be making another Elder Scrolls game. When they started to release information regarding the game, people knew that it was going to be one of the best.

The game follows an open world action-adventure RPG format, allowing the player to be able to go around and do whatever they please in the large Skyrim world. There is no multiplayer in the game, but a user would have more than enough to keep them occupied with all the quests in the single player. There is a large main quest-line, but also multiple just as large side quest-lines.

The main weapons used in the games are medieval swords and maces, along with the ability to do different magic spells. The user would find that the game keeps hem highly involved, as when the users character levels up and becomes stronger, the environment also levels up and becomes stronger.

This game is great for anyone who is looking for something fun to fill their time; it does not only appeal to someone who has played games like Skyrim. (Example being World of Warcraft)The game provides a constant challenge, and has various puzzles throughout that would hook anyone willing to try it. Just be fair warned, this isn’t a game that can just be played for ten minutes, it is hard to stop once you start.
