This year, the Pep Band has turned a new face. The transformation from a marching band to pep band is under the final ways of change. With every band student now required to part take in it, the pep band is at its strongest and most exciting that it’s been in years.
Before, Pep Band was the music of the past. It was old, but got the crowd going. Nonetheless, it was still on the outdated side. A new turn in directions has been taken. This year, most of the music has been replaced with popular modern songs, like Party Rock Anthem and Moves like Jaguar. By adding these songs, commonly found on the radio, it has a better reaction from the crowd.
Also, the Pep Band will play at other sport games to spread the panther pride throughout the sports, instead of just football.
