Disney 3Don’t

Disney is back at it again, Monsters Inc is set for its own 3D re-release on December 19, but is another 3D re-release what people want to see?

“They’re just doing to to make more money!” claims upset Junior Emily Lavallee.

“Don’t get me wrong, I like Disney movies just as much as the next person, but I don’t want to pay 11 dollars to see something I’ve already seen 10 years ago, even if it’s in 3D” continued Lavallee

Lavallee my have a good point, but you can’t blame Disney for doing what works. The re-release of The Lion King in 3D made over 80 million dollars.

According to an article on worldtvpc.com, Disney plans on re-releasing even more classics in 3D.

“I guess if they’re making money and people enjoy seeing the movie there’s nothing wrong with re-releasing movies.” says senior Nick Allers

Allers continued “It’s not like anyone is forcing people to see these movies”

It doesn’t look like Disney will stop pumping out re-releases any time soon, so what do you think about all the nostalgia?

How do you feel about Disney re-releasing so many movies?
