From May 14th to the 25th, the French Riviera will host its annual Cannes Movie Festival. The festival, comprising of movie premiers, short film viewings, and parties, helps expose works that contribute greatly to the progress of the film industry.

Although the events main attraction is the films, the fashion world does not turn their back to the couture at the event.

With the variety of actresses, models, and big-name celebrities at Cannes this year, there has been an abundant amount of beautiful looks. But as always, some stand out more than the others.

In the gallery above, click to expand the five best dressed looks of the festival (so far).

As always- first up is Blake Lively. On May 16th, at the premier of “Captives“, Lively wore a Gucci Première silk crepe gown. The simple black on white contrast looked stunningly chic on the red carpet.

Czech model Petra Nemcova attracted attention at the Chopard Backstage Party on May 19th. Her dusty rose Ellie Saab gown fit like a glove and wowed the critics and crowd. Her classic accessories added a feel of Hollywood glamour to her ensemble.

Natasha Poly brought a beautiful darkness to the festival. The Russian model attended the “Saint Laurent” premier on May 17th, wearing a S/S 2014 Oscar de la Renta latice gown. Her dramatic makeup accentuated her bold look.

Also a Chopard Party attendee, Audriana Lima looked stunning in her Ellie Saab. The Victoria’s Secret model is a frequent festival goer, and has proved to the fashion world she knows haute-couture.

Lastly (also a Victoria’s Secret model), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s black A/W 2014 Cushnie Et Ochs gown highlighted the night. The party sponsored by Cushnie Et Ochs at Cannes took place on the 20th of May. Whiteley pulled off the cutout slit gown like a charm.
