Ever since the recent release of the trailer of the sequel to Pitch Perfect, fans are getting excited for Pitch Perfect 2 to be in theaters on May 15 2015.

The original Pitch Perfect‘s plot was about an acapella group, known as the Barden Bellas, who needed to work together to make a better reputation for their group to become more successful.

In Pitch Perfect 2, the girls in the Barden Bellas are now seniors and have to find new and younger members to take their places. The movie will be including the beloved actors in the original Pitch Perfect including the Bellas: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Hana Mae Lee, Anna Camp, and Alexis Knapp. 

Also, there will be appearances from some of the Treblemakers (a competing acapella group) which include: Adam Devine and Skylar Astin.

Some newcomers will also be joining the Pitch Perfect 2 cast. These include Katey Sagal who previously appeared in “Sons of Anarchy” and Hailee Steinfeld who was in “Enders Game” and “True Grit”. 

Lastly, there will be appearances from some popular a cappella groups in present day. These will include Pentatonix, Penn Masala, and the Filharmonic. 

Katie Grome, Sophomore is very excited about Pitch Perfect 2 coming out in May. She says “I love the first movie and I am definitely going to see the second one. I can’t wait until May when it comes out!”

So get ready for another “Riff Off”, the return of your favorite Barden Bellas and Treblemakers, and some more aca-fun. So on May 15, go to the movies and see the return of you favorite Pitch Perfect characters!
