Top 10 Holiday Movies to Watch this December!

This December, holiday traditions may look a little different. Malls are less crowded, school is hybrid, and many families cannot see relatives for the holidays. One thing we can all find comfort in this season is holiday movies! Our favorite characters reappear after a long, crazy year. Here is Pantherbook’s top ten holiday movies for December 202o.

  1. Elf: Buddy the Elf goes on a quest to New York City to find his dad. But an elf in the city? Definitely doesn’t blend in with the crowd.
  2. The Santa Clause: Watch Tim Allen transform from a distant father to Santa Claus in this film. Plus there is two more you can watch after! (Santa Clause 2 and Santa Clause 3)
  3. Home Alone: When 8 year old Kevin McCallister accidentally gets left behind before a holiday trip, he is in charge of warding off two men trying to break in to his home!
  4. It’s a Wonderful Life:  Follow George Bailey and his angel as he rediscovers the joys of living and his ‘wonderful life’ in this 1947 classic!
  5. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: Follow Rudolph and his other misfit friends around as they look for a place that will accept them for who they are.
  6. A Year Without A Santa Claus: Santa Claus gets sick close to Christmas, causing a panic at the North Pole to see how Christmas will go on. Luckily, two elves are up for the task to fix the problem!
  7. A Christmas Carol: An old grumpy man is visited by three ghosts: the ghost of Christmas past, Christmas present, and Christmas future.
  8. Frosty the Snowman: A snowman comes alive after a magical hat was placed on his head and he join children on an adventure to keep him alive.
  9. Santa Claus is Comin´ to Town: This claymation movie depicts how the beloved Santa Claus came to be.
  10. The Grinch: The Grinch plans to ruin Christmas for the people of Whoville, but instead find a very different outcome.
