One of the biggest weeks of fashion has finally arrived.

Fashion week is a week where designers and brands put together a show in order to display their work for buyers and the media. Designers have been working for months to put out their best work so it’s no question why the industry is so excited.

 The streets are full with designers, models, and guests. Taking place in Paris, France from February 28 at 5:30 p.m. till March 8 at 6 p.m. the gorgeous venues are crowded. Shows for designers Fall and Winter collections are on their way. Some shows include: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Off-White. Junior Tess Bower from Franklin High School says it’s the variety in shows that draws her in and Chanel is her favorite brand because of the detail in the pieces.

For those interested in new trends for the upcoming year and seeing different designers artistic abilities on display, this is an exciting and interesting week. Bower says fashion week is an opportunity for those involved to work with many people and gain lots of knowledge surrounding the industry. Bower states that one of her favorite pieces has been the closing gown of the Off-White show shown, due to the movement in the gown.
