The rain is becoming a major issue in Massachusetts and surrounding states. Many individuals and families are losing their homes or their land because of water damage and flooding. Rhode Island has recently been hit very hard by the storm, causing a lot of school closings, flood warnings, and house damage. Governor Deval Patrick has put Massachusetts into a state of emergency. We spoke to Mr. Penza, a history teacher at Franklin High and he explained his situation to us. He is one of the many individuals who are putting most of their time and effort into saving their homes. Hopefully there will be some nice weather in the future to dry out all this rain.
