Lance Armstrong, a hero to millions, will reportedly admit to using performance-enhancing drugs during his career as a cyclist.
Critics of Armstrong have been pressuring him for years to admit to doping, although he has never failed a drug test. Armstrong recently sat down for an interview with Oprah where he reportedly admitted to using performance enhancing drugs.
The interview will be aired this Thursday and Friday on Oprah’s network OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network).
“He was too good for too long” said Chris Lutz when asked why he believed Armstrong used PED’s.
“The guy rides bikes like a champ and raised millions of dollars for cancer research and the livestrong foundation.” continued Lutz
Lutz brings up a good point, Armstrong may have cheated, but his fame brought publicity to a great cause.
“The only person who didn’t use steroids came in like 23rd, so if Lance used his fame to raise millions of dollars for cancer I’m okay with that” said Jared Lynch.
So what do you think, does Lance Armstrong admitting to using performance enhancing drugs change your opinion of him?
