Spinners ride for Best Buddies program in Franklin
Franklin resident Katie Streeter gives a high-five to Dale Hodgon as he begins his third hour on a spin cycle during the 5th annual spin-a-thon fundraiser to benefit Best Buddies. The event was held at Team Fitness in Franklin on Saturday.

“It’s done tremendous things for kids with intellectual disabilities,” Berthiaume said, “but it benefits kids on both sides of the friendship. It makes people realize that they’re not so different and that we’re all in this together. That’s what it’s all about.”
Franklin has four Best Buddies programs, one at each of the three middle schools and at the high school, thanks to the Spin-a-thon and other fundraisers throughout the year
