Many people in the greater Boston area are going to get a little help this holiday season because of volunteers at the United Way organization.  The many volunteers created 5,000 Thanksgiving baskets which included turkey dinners.

Many local businesses donated several trailer truck loads of food to this worthy effort.Some of the business contributors were  Stop and Shop, Legal Sea Foods, and UPS.

This charitable event was composed of several church, community, and social services to help those in need.
