To Gossip or Not to Gossip?

“Now if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it all,” and  “I have never said anything  bad about anyone!”  We have all heard these sayings before but which is more accurate?

Studies show that gossiping  about people can actually be healthy. Gossip can help relieve stress but only when it’s used for good. Developers from the University of California report in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology that gossip can be used to stop behavior and prevent people from getting hurt.

I do think  gossip is a bad thing because people still get hurt and there are ways of them finding out such as texting, social networks, and by someone telling them to their face. In a way I think you can use gossip to get something off your chest instead of keeping it all bottled up inside, but look for something positive, and be kind.
