For all you superstitious people out there, start thinking about what to wish for on 11/11/11! And for all you super-superstitious people out there, practice saying it in one second at 11:11:11on 11/11/11!

Plenty of FHSers have been waiting for this mega wish day. Conor Bond noted that he “can’t wait to make the perfect wish, just in case all the hype is true”.

So what’s the significance? This date and time only comes around every 100 years, which is one lifetime, unless you’re Erin McGinley who hopes to live to 2111. 11/11/11 is the only double figure palindrome date since there aren’t 22 months.

If your lucky number is 11, then tomorrow ought to go very well for you. There are hundreds of Vegas weddings planned for tomorrow and even more around the world.

On this day in 1911, the temperature dropped 60 degrees in one day, which is almost supernatural. The sky’s the limit for whatever is in store for tomorrow. We already had a hurricane that canceled school and a snow storm in October that canceled school.

On a darker note, many bloggers believe that since the date and time is all one number, it is bound to be the end of the world. I’m hoping some of you wish that the world doesn’t end!

Then again, maybe tomorrow is just Veterans’ Day and our wishes won’t go anywhere, which seems to be the popular opinion according to Amy Stevens and scientific proof.
