Freshman Banquet a Huge Success!

What went on last Friday night, March 3, at Freshman Banquet that made it such a hit? Smiles could be seen all around as the dance took place in the cafeteria which was decorated with balloons and vibrant lights. Girls showed up in a colorful array of micro dresses paired with white sneakers. The boys, as well, were dressed to impress in their dress shirts and ties.

A DJ provided lively music where many people danced and took pictures. The night grew to be quite crowded with many on the dance floor. Several chaperons made sure that everyone was having a fun, safe night. Students arrived around 7 p.m. and departed at 9:30 p.m. Leaving time was strict and students were prohibited to leave early, as stated on the banquet rules.

Admission was $20 and enabled pizza and cookies to be served. According to Freshman Gianna Stoddard the money spent on every ticket will be going into funds for class of 2026 and help with future events like prom. Having banquet is a way of celebrating the class of 2026 and raising school spirit. Gianna also mentioned how the money made from the t-shirt fundraiser was used to fund banquet.
