The baseball team dropped its season opener on the road in Canton. Franklin was led by pitcher Mike McGowan’s 8 strike outs. Catcher, Steve Ballio, hit a home run while Matt Dean and Dan Simon each had two hits for the Panthers. Franklin is back in action on Friday when they take on the Foxboro Warriors on the road.
