“Although the defense fell apart during the second period, they picked it up and finished strong”, Jednak said. Along with Franklin’s victory, it was a sad moment for attack-man Greg Kane. Suffering knee problems, it was his last game of the season and will need to undergo surgery. Having reoccurring knee problems, he continued to play his heart out throughout the game scoring the last goal of his season.
