B’s Prevail in Game 6

The Boston Bruins won a thriller last night against the Buffalo Sabres 4-3. The Bruins managed to score first for the first time in the series. David Krejci got the Bruins on the board first with a perfect tip on the power-play from Mark Recchi. David Krejci finished the night with two goals and one assists.

The Bruins carried the momentum the whole game, eliminating the Sabres scoring chances. Tuuka Rask once again kept the Bruins alive, saving 27 shots and making game changing saves to keep the Bruins ahead. Miroslav Satan netted the Bruins fourth goal, becoming a hero once again.

“We wanted to close it out because we didn’t want to go back to Buffalo,” said Bruins goalie Tuuka Rask. The Bruins knew that they needed to win the game, because it would make it tough to play back at Buffalo in game 7.

The Bruins moved on to the Semi Finals for the second year in a row to face either the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Philadelphia Flyers
