The Future of the Bruins:Brad Marchand and Tyler Seguin

Throughout Boston and the state of Massachusetts, Bruins fans are buzzing about the two young phenoms, Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand. Both burst on to the scene last year during both the regular season and the playoffs for the Bruins. Marchand was the spark to the Bruins offense and was the winner of the 7th player award. Seguin, the 2nd overall pick in the 2010 entry draft, had a somewhat slow regular season, but he really turned it on in the conference finals, when he was finally inserted into the lineup after being a healthy scratch in the previous 2 rounds.

This season Seguin and Marchand, who is known for the nicknames “Marshmont”, “The Nose Face Killah”, and “Honey Badger”, have looked like living legends. Seguin right now is in the top ten for scoring and is on pace to score up to 40 goals and get up to 30 assists. Seguin also leads the NHL in plus/minus with a +15. Marchand with 6 goals and 7 assists is on pace for at least 20 goals and 20 assists this  season.

With both players having a career seasons, you would think they would be on this years all star ballot.  Well if you think that, then you are wrong, both Seguin and Marchand as of now were left off the ballot. They are available for write in vote though so there is still a chance that these two can still be voted in. With Seguin and Marchand in Boston, Bruins fans have a bright future they can look forward to.
