Bruins Resign Krejci To 3 Year Deal

The Boston Bruins announced today that they have resigned center David Krejci to a three-year contract extension. They have not officially released how much he will make but TSN reports that it will be $15.75 million. David Krejci has been a very valuable player for the Boston Bruins, in the past 3 seasons with the Bruins he has scored 55 goals and 187 points.

Even though Krejci is off to a slow start with only 4 goals and 9 assists in 20 games this season he is still valuable because of his ability to control the puck and set up behind the net. I believe that Krejci will pick up his game as the season goes on and he will be worth the three-year extension for the Bruins, he is too valuable of a player to let go. Krejci had 1 goal and 2 assists Wednesday night against the Maple Leafs to help boost the Bruins into first place in the Northeast. Hopefully he can produce again in the rematch on Saturday against the Leafs.
