Brett Favre Possible Return?

Here we go again; Brett Favre rumors of a possible return to the NFL are once again circulating the news. Favre now 42 retired last year after a disappointing season with the Vikings.

ESPN reports that Favre said he would “listen” if the Chicago Bears contacted him. The Bear’s starter Jay Cutler was injured during a game during the San Diego Chargers.

The Bears now have Caleb Haine as their quarterback struggling to fight for a playoff spot at 7-5. Another huge loss for the Bears is Matt Forte who went down this Sunday against the Chiefs. If the Bears do not bring anyone in to fill their QB problems they may miss the playoffs or have an early exit.

Donovan McNabb could is also a possibility for the Bears but both of these rumors will most likely just stay rumors.

Chicago Bears Coach Lovie Smith said “That’s our group.” “We’re going to make improvements with our group. We’re not looking on the outside. We won’t have a quarterback tryout or anything like that.”

So the return of Brett Favre is probably a long shot but who wouldn’t want to see Favre battle his ex team, The Green Bay Packers at Lambo field and end their undefeated streak?
