Franklin’s Varsity Boys Soccer team accomplished what the previous 49 visitors to WWII Veterans Memorial Park field could not, they beat Canton 1-0 Wednesday night.

Eric Hall provided all of the offense with a goal in the 7th minute of the game. Hall received a crossing pass from Junior, Joe Kalil and managed to find the back of the net.

Franklin’s defense then withstood a barrage of Canton attacks, and escaped with the victory. The 2-1 Panthers will next host the Blue Bombardiers of Attleboro on Friday at 3:30.
