Rocketeers Fly Into Franklin

Kyle Finamore and the Franklin High School Panther football team will play host to Alex Jette and The North Attleboro Red Rocketeers the Friday October 5, at 7 p.m.

Both teams look for the win as this is the first Kelly Rex division battle for both teams. Franklin (3-1) is coming off a big win vs. previously undefeated Oliver Ames 21-14. North (3-1) however is coming off a shocking lose to the Foxboro Warriors 21-0.

The Panthers and the Rocketeers both look to establish the run game entering this ball game. Finamore coming off a 3 touchdown performance looks to improve again this week; while North’s running back Alex Jette is considered one of the premier back in the whole MIAA.

This Hockomock Kelley Rex could be what determines the outcome of the season for either team. Franklin has the momentum of a second half comeback last week scoring all 21 points in the last two quarters. For North, however they look to prove they are one of the top teams in Massachusetts.

These two teams battled last year with North coming out on top 7-3. Franklin, this year, looks to be on the other side of the score board and come out with the W. With North looking to add on to their excellence vs. FHS as they lead the series 43-18-3.

Entering this match of strong teams, Franklin is averaging 24.8 points per game only allowing 13.3. The Rocketeers are averaging 23.8 and allowing 17.7. Looking at this on paper, both teams are evenly matched.

“It’s a big game as it’s our first game against a Kelley Rex opponent and last year we lost to them” said Franklin’s Senior running back Kyle Finamore.

“Hes one of those key running backs they have so they like to sweep him outside and if we slow him down we don’t have to worry about one aspect of their entire game plan” said Finamore on Alex Jette.

Will the Rocketeers continue their winning ways with the Panthers? Or will the Panthers come out on top?

Who will WIN?
