Tommorow at 12:30 pm, the Celtics will face off against the 2-6 n Toroto Raptors at the TD Bank Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Some might say the Celtics have had a rough start to the season with their 5-4 record, but their past with the Raptors is a positive one.
The Celtics and Raptors have played a total of 65 regular season games against each other in the past, with the Celtics wining 65 percent of them (42 games) and the Raptors winning a minor 35 Percent (23 games).
“The Raptors are pretty good but I don’t think that they can take the win because they are missing Lowrie” Says Spencer Carlisle, Senior.
Kyle Lowry, the Raptors star guard now has to sit 1-2 weeks due to his bruised foot. Tuesday night against the Oaklahoma City Thunder, Lowry fell “awkwardly” onto his own foot. The injury might have paused Lowry’s career, but it is a huge benefit for the Celtics.
The Raptors are also missing 2 forward guards, Alan Anderson, and Landry Fields. Fields has recently been struggling, but Anderson, with a total 44 points this season, is on his game as soon as he leaves the bench. So his injury will benefit the Celtics.
“After winning their last game, I want to see my Celtics pick up the pace and get a good winning streak” Says Matt Gentilli, Senior.
Be sure to tune into the game tommorow at 12:30 to see the 65% winning streak against the Raptors to a 66% winning streak.
