Franklin beats North Attleboro in a team effort

Franklin High’s boys varsity basketball team beat North Attleboro 57-37 on January 2.
Playing at the new FHS gym, the boys showed their power as a team with several different players contributing to the win.
Senior and captain Marcus Giese scored 13 points, a game-high. Junior Tim Prunier scored eight points. Three seniors, Kyle Skidmore, Shawn Hanley, and captain Dylan Reno each added seven points of their own.
The boys basketball season has gotten off to a solid start. With a 3-1 record, FHS is 3rd in the Kelley-Rex division of the Hockomock League, trailing only one game behind Mansfield and Taunton, who both stand at 4-0. FHS is also has a 4-1 total record.
