Franklin Girls Track Never Quits

Brad Jarosz

The Franklin Panthers track team has had a nearly perfect year. They are hunting for the hock championship and the coveted triple crown. On April 25th the Panthers travelled to Mansfield  in attempts to keep their undefeated year in tact. They did not. Sadly, the panthers dropped their first meet of the year. The athletes however remained optimistic and continued to example and embodie all of the aspects that Franklin athletes behold. In an interview with Stonehill Commit Brittany Robinson (Sr), I asked her how she took the first loss of the year, she responded:

“We really wanted to be undefeated the whole year. It was a tough loss. But even though we didn’t do that, we are still going to be hock champs. Even though we wanted the triple crown, we have a strong team and I am confident in our abilities to bounce back”.

As the season continues, the team remains determined to keep on winning and not let the first loss affect their hunt for the Hockomock Championship.
