The need is constant.  The gratification is instant.  Give blood.  Approximately one out of every three people will need blood at some point in their lifetime and nearly every two seconds, someone in America needs blood.  But you can help!  Individuals who are least 17 years of age (16 with an American Red Cross parental permission slip), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to give blood.  One pint of blood may save as many as three lives.  Sign ups for the December 13th blood drive will be held during lunch on Monday, December 6th and Tuesday, December 7th.
