Corn Maze Crisis

Catie Flaherty

Corn mazes are supposed to be fun and a little scary during Halloween. That’s the real fun; getting lost and running around knowing absolutely nothing about where you’re going.

But, a local family did not see the amusement in getting lost in a maze located in Danvers, Massachusetts. The mother who was accompanied by her two young children panicked after getting lost and confused and resorted to calling 911 for a quick rescue. Police arrived abruptly and laughed while “saving” the family, who were only 20 feet from an exit. Comments from the family were negative about the entire experience and said they would return “never again.”

Farm owner says the incident will not affect business but only lure more customers in who are up to the challenge of defeating the maze and having a good time.
