Rattle City

Rattle City has been under administrative scrutiny due to the Twitter account they set up. For those who don’t know, Rattle City is a Franklin High School fan base that is present at the basketball games. The whole idea behind it is to “Rattle” the opposing team and distracted them from performing their best.

Lately, according to the makers of the Rattle City twitter account, the school administration suggested that they need to take Rattle City off Twitter because of possible negative publicity.  Franklin High School Administrators were unavailable for comment.

“I don’t see why they would need to take it off twitter, there is really no reason to take it off, it’s all in good fun.” Said co-founder of Rattle City Ryan Casey.

“We are going to fight to keep this account because we are in no way affiliated with Franklin Public Schools” Co- founder Nick Montanaro said.

The creators of the website have made meetings with administration to try to come up with a compromise concerning the account. Whether or not Rattle City will continue on Twitter or will be shut down, they will be present at every Franklin High School home basketball game.
