A large crowd of students gathered in the gymnasium after school Thursday to view the dodgeball tournament. Seal Team 8 of the junior class were the underdogs, yet they defeated the class of 2015’s 7th Floor Crew, the reigning champions of the last two years.

7th Floor Crew member Justin Bates says of his team’s fall from glory, “It was a battle from the beginning. Being the returning champs, we were heckled quite a bit, but we just went out there and tried our best. Got through the first rounds easy enough but just couldn’t seal the deal at the end.”

Though the seniors were unable to live up to the expectations for their dodgeball game performance, they emerged victorious from Powderpuff.

Powderpuff drew less of a crowd due to the freezing temperatures Friday afternoon. The final game between the juniors and seniors was close, but the seniors scored the winning touchdown.
