Book Drive Comes to FHS

Book Drive Comes to FHS

Put your childhood books to good use in the book drive at FHS this March

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Caroline Cafasso, Editor

Do you have any old or used books at home?

If yes, you can donate them in FHS’ latest book drive taking place from March 2nd to March 13th.

The books can be placed in the red bins located outside the school’s front entrance and gym entrance.

They will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters, a non-profit organization that helps children, particularly those in need, reach their potential and build a future by making safe choices and having healthy relationships.

Many families have books in their homes, specifically children’s books that go unused once children grow older. Students at FHS can pass on the joy and knowledge that they once received from these books to other children across Massachusetts.

With this book drive, you can easily make a difference by bringing some books to school and dropping them off in the red bins when you leave or enter the building. The books can be used, but should be in fairly good condition.

For any questions, contact Haley Frank, Allie Herman, or Caroline Cafasso.
