Meet Mrs. London

Pantherbook Staff

The Pantherbook staff is proud to bring back the Franklin high School Faculty and Staff Interview series.  We posted a series questions to new faculty and staff and asked them to answer the ones of their choice. (To see all the questions, view the Proust Survey).

Today’s Feature: Mrs. London, Librarian

  1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Everyone healthy, a clean house, a full fridge and a pile of good books to read. Of course perfect happiness would also mean having time to read the books….

2.Which talent would you most like to have?

I love to sing. Music can be exciting, healing and transformative. I’ve had the privilege of singing in some wonderful choruses but striving to be better today than you were yesterday is so important that I consider singing a talent I’m constantly developing.

  1. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Helping to turn people into readers. Reading expands your horizon, exposes you to diverse opinions and sparks intellectual curiosity that is an important factor in achieving success in life. Books are awesome and I want everyone to know it.

4. What do you value most in friends?

Honesty. I know it’s a cliche but real friends can tell you what you need to hear even if you don’t necessarily want to hear it.

5. What is your greatest extravagance?

Heated seats in my car. I can get cold no matter what season it is and I don’t think I could ever have a car that didn’t offer instant warmth.
