Spilling the Tea on Patriot Place’s Newest Restaurant

Amanda Wylie, Writer

The decor at Alice is highly themed and presents many Instagram-worthy photo opportunities.

An Alice in Wonderland themed eatery appropriately named Alice has arrived at Patriot Place. Specializing in afternoon tea, the new restaurant boasts incredible food at reasonable prices.

Alice has three distinct sections. At the front of the space, there is an “Eat ME! Drink ME!” to-go counter where guests can quickly grab macaroons, cake pops, scones, bubble tea, color-changing butterfly tea, and more.

Tea with a slice of unicorn cake on top, anyone?

Beside that is a gift shop that features a wide variety of tea as well as Alice in Wonderland merchandise.

Venturing towards the back of the space will bring you to the Red Queen Tea Room. This impeccably furnished space complete with a throne must be seen to be believed.

There is an afternoon tea option for every budget and hunger level at Alice, including an “À la Cart(epiller)” menu with individual soups, salads, and cheese boards. Pantherbook ordered the Queen of Hearts High Tea in preparation for this review, which we highly recommend splurging for if one is celebrating a special occasion.

The mid-price point Wonderland Tea tower includes quiche, an assortment of sandwiches, mini salads, scones, and sweet treats.

High schoolers may be quick to dismiss Alice as a place for little kids, but that assumption is completely wrong.

Alice has managed to turn the classic childhood story of Alice in Wonderland into a sophisticated, yet whimsical dining experience that even the most unenthusiastic of teenagers will love.

Reservations are required and can be placed here. For the full menu, click here.

Simply put, you have to check out this unique new restaurant. And that’s the tea, sis.
