When people hear the name Taylor Swift, they immediately think of her masterful lyricism, fashion statements, and love for cats. Since her first album dropped in 2006, her career has skyrocketed exponentially. Now, Swifties currently await the release of Midnights, her tenth studio album dropping on October 21st following a shocking reveal at the VMAs. In preparation for her new album, I decided to rank her nine albums from decent to arguably the greatest album of all time (in my opinion, at least). I also chose to list my three favorite songs from each album. As a warning, be prepared to disagree with my hot takes!

9. Lover - At the very bottom of the list is Taylor’s most forgettable work, hence why the opening track is aptly named I Forgot That You Existed. Somehow, Taylor managed to pick her worst songs on the album as her singles (cough-cough, Lover and ME!) and neglected the masterful Cruel Summer which would make for a picture-perfect music video. The standout Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince highlights her political activism and Afterglow has a nice sound to it, but a majority of the tracks get lost in the mix compared to her better songs from other albums.
