Franklin High School (FHS) volleyball is back and better than ever!

Franklin volleyball is currently undefeated through all three, Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams.

FHS volleyball has some major and competitive games coming up, some of which include Mansfield, Senior night, and longtime rival at home, King Philip. It is expected that the Franklin Panthers will make it through to the playoffs.

Sophomore, Ava Davies is a returning member and one of the captains of the Junior Varsity volleyball team here at Franklin High School. Davies plays middle hitter for Coach Mackenzie Easterbrooks’ team.

Davies explained that this fall season has some differences in contrast to last falls’ Covid-impacted season. For example, Davies said this season is significantly longer than the last, ranging from Aug. 28 to their last regular-season game on Oct. 28. She also has a different coach, many new freshmen additions to her team, and now swings, plays up, for Coach Samantha Redmond’s Varsity team.

Check out some of Varsity volleyballs’ upcoming exciting games: Milford at home on Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. and King Philip at home on Oct. 28 at 5 p.m.

No worries if you miss any of the games. Live-streamed games are available online on the FHS volleyball Youtube channel!
