FHS Football: 5 and 0 and on to Attleboro!

Travis Rice

The Franklin Panthers Football team is very confident after beginning the 2021 season 5-0 and at the top of their division.

Some players to watch on Fridays are Mack Gulla, Will Tracey, and Jared Arone. During this season running back, Mack Gulla has found the end zone several times and rushed for 100s of yards. The wide receiver core for the Panthers consists of Will Tracey, Shane Kindred, and more hauling in multiple touchdowns from quarterback Jared Arone.

Junior Varsity Tight End, Jack Nutter, made his predictions for the score last Thursday vs Taunton. He said it would be 35-0 Franklin, and funny enough he was exactly right!

The Crowd section named “Rattle City” has themes for each and every home game. Last week’s theme vs Taunton was neon. It sure was bright, lighting the way for the Panthers as they proved that they are a championship contender this year.

That was the final home game until the playoffs.  This week the team has a bye week but is right back to work, with daily practices to prepare for their next opponent: Attleboro on the 22nd of October. If you can make the commute and cheer on your school, definitely do!
