Mom

Tea kettle ($34.99)

I don’t know about your mom, but my mom loves tea and this one will look so quaint on your kitchen stove.

Bonus points for the bird on the spout!

Puzzle ($14.99-$17.99)

A puzzle is a perfect staple gift to buy for the upcoming snow days.

I found this puzzle cylinder in the line at TJ Maxx/Home Goods.

Book (~$5-$15)

You can never go wrong with a book! Ask them about their favorite genre or what books they’ve been meaning to read. You can buy one on Amazon or any department store. You can even support small businesses and go to Jeff Kinney’s Unlikely Story book store in Plainville.

This list found in an Unlikely Story catalog features its most popular fiction books.

Fiori

Fiori is a gift shop in Franklin, located at 305 Union St., and sells succulents, cards, pottery, and so many other cute gifts. I found some helpful gift ideas for my mom at Fiori, but you can buy these for another person you know as well.

Here is the beautiful plant room at fiori. The structure in the back used to be a fireplace.

Plants (~$10-$40)

The pots at Fiori come in a variety of sizes and colors. You pick your plant and pot, and they can plant it for you and wrap it up!

The pots they sell look like handcraft pottery.

Dish cloths (~$12)

Fiori has several different patterns for dishcloths–they’re all so pretty you’ll have a tough time picking just one!

This will look great around an oven handle.

Cutting board (~$30)

This cutting board is festive and perfect for your mom’s charcuterie boards.

This even comes with a cheese knife.

Candle sticks (~$6)

These will add a wonderful touch to your dining room table or mantle.

They come in other pastel colors too.
